  • Mr. Wang: No problem. Kaolin is a nonmetal mineral ubiquitous in nature. In the past, it is generally used in the production of ceramics, refractory material, the incorporation of plastics, especially as the filler in latex paint. With the development of various fields of the national economy, people attach more and more importance to the deep processing of kaolin. Because it can not only obtain new material with special properties, but also can increase the economic benefits.
  • Host: The kaolin processing needs the vertical mill, doesn’t it?
  • Mr. Wang: Yes. In all of kaolin applications, it must through the vertical milling machine processing into a fine powder. Flat properties of kaolin powder can provide a good balance between the flow of paint and leveling. Flat particles tend to paint surface, and can effectively prevent the penetration of moisture. Make that the film scrubbing resistance and pollution resistance are improved. For the sticky film with compressive viscosity, flat particles can improve the coating. Kaolin is hydrophilic. It is easy to disperse. It has smaller particle density, and good suspension performance. After grinded, this can be added to other materials, and complete fusion. The kaolin using in latex paint can greatly improve the performance and quality of latex paint, which is finely grinded by the vertical mill.
